We have briefly listed below what is checked and tested on your vehicle when an MOT is carried out. This is not an exhaustive list, this is just to give you an idea and to inform you that we check the whole vehicle in accordance with the law. We take MOT testing very seriously. A vehicle provides you safety on the road and something as small as a failing break light can be the fetal difference in a road accident. > Vehicle Lighting Test (stop lamps, reflectors and direction indicators)
> Steering Test (steering control, steering system, front suspension, power steering, suspension general, rear suspension and rear wheel bearings, front wheel bearings and driveshafts, shock absorbers)
> Test Brakes (parking brake lever mechanism, hydraulic, hand operated brake control valves, service brake control, mechanical brake components, air and vacuum systems, brake performance, anti-lock braking system)
> Tyre Testing (tyres, road worthy wheels)
> Testing Seat Belts
> General Items that are covered by our MOT testing (Road view by Driver, wipers, washers, windscreen, car horn, exhaust system and exhaust emissions, general vehicle structure, condition of vehicles body and doors, load security, seats, mirrors, fuel system, reg plates and VIN details).
